We have large shopping lists and many people we want to give the perfect gift to.  Now Consumers have such a huge verity of options to choose from, but those options can also make it overwhelming. Nearly everyone has a smartphone, but most people don’t utilize them to the fullest extent possible. So here are few tips on ways to use your smartphone to help with Christmas shopping. The note taking app can be one of the most useful features of any smartphone. It allows you to organize your thoughts from anywhere and at the touch of a button. I personally use a program called Evernote. It syncs to my computer as well as my tablet, which means I can access my notes from anywhere. I created a note that is titled “Christmas List Ideas” and I just add items to the list when I think of possible gifts ideas. Another option available on both iPhone and Android, are any number of Christmas List apps. There are many different apps available that only cost couple bucks or less. They are only focused on Christmas shopping, so they are very simple. You can set your budget and it will keep track of how much you have left. These options will help keep your shopping list organized!

Shopping apps are a great way to save money this holiday season. Here are some great apps to help you during your gift shopping. The first app is called RetailMeNot, it is a great app that gives you coupons and promo codes for thousands of stores. It is location aware, so if you walk into Target, it will popup any available coupons. However the coupons aren’t always official. So just understand that sometimes the coupons may not work, and some stores don’t accept RetailMeNot coupons at all. Another great and maybe more obvious app, is the Amazon app. Amazon’s app is a great way to find fantastic deals. If you are an Amazon Prime user then you can get free 2 day shipping on millions of items. They have also built in features that allow you to scan in bar codes or take pictures of products, so that you can easily find what you are looking for. Walmart also has a really useful app. You can scan in receipts of the items you have purchased from Walmart and it will price match it to the lowest price and give you the difference back as a Walmart gift card.

You can do research on products you are interested in, as well as read reviews on nearly anything in the world. This makes it simple and quick to make sure that you are buying a good product. Also since you can access almost any website, it is always a great idea to check companies’s websites for flyers or other promotions.
